Knead this dough, then let it rest for about 30 minutes. (If you don’t have a mixer, you can make this dough by hand.) Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, add the egg, and beat into a slightly soft dough.
Drizzle with vanilla icing: Whisk confectioners’ sugar, milk, and vanilla extract together until smooth. Bake: After the giant cinnamon roll cake is puffy, bake until golden brown. Remember, this is the only rise time required! Rise: Let the shaped cake rise until doubled in size, about 1-2 hours.
